Drone Deer Recovery
Bad shots happen. Blood trails fade. That’s where our state-of-the-art thermal drone's step in, offering a noninvasive way to recover your deer without leaving scent or risking bumping it.
Based in Southern Ohio, we’re highly experienced in thermal deer recovery with over 300 successful recoveries and multiple skilled pilots ready to deploy.

Thermal and Zoom Cameras
We use advanced
thermal imaging to locate your deer fast, even in thick brush or standing corn. Once a heat signature is found, our drone’s
200x zoom camera lets us confirm it from a safe distance. For nighttime recoveries, the onboard
spotlight lights up the area, making our operations effective no matter the hour.
Your Deer, Our Priority
How Deer Recovery Works
When We Find Your Deer
Once we locate your deer, we’ll provide you with exact GPS coordinates and set you up with directions on Google Maps or OnX Hunt. This ensures you can make a clean, direct approach to recover your trophy without unnecessary disturbance to the area.
What Happens if we Find Your Deer Alive?
Bad shots happen, and not every deer we track is expired. When we locate a deer alive, we can often see the shot placement and carefully assess its behavior without spooking it. This gives you the information you need to make the right decision on your recovery.
In this photo, you can see the deer is still alive, and the entrance wound is visible. The shot appears to be slightly high, which helps us evaluate its condition and next steps.

Contact Us
Contact Us for Deer Recovery Assistance
Welcome to Elite Deer Recovery. When you contact us for assistance, we want to ensure a smooth and effective operation. Here’s what we’ll discuss when you reach out:
Deer Location
We kindly request that you refrain from searching for the deer yourself, as our odds of success are higher when it remains undisturbed.
Land Access
If the deer is located on public land, please arrange for access to a private property for our operations. We are unable to operate on public property.
Visual Aids
If you have pictures of the deer, sharing them with us can significantly aid in locating it and assessing its condition.
Landowner Permission
While it’s not mandatory, we encourage you to inform landowners about our drone operations over their property, ensuring transparency and cooperation.
Search Time
Our standard search time is limited to 2 hours. This allows us to focus our efforts efficiently and maximize the chances of recovery.
Deposit Requirement
To secure our services, we require a non-refundable deposit. This helps us cover operational costs and ensures commitment to the recovery process.
If the deer is not deceased, we observe a 30-minute waiting period after we leave the scene before revealing the location. This ensures fair chase and ethical hunting practices.
By following these guidelines, we aim to provide a responsible and effective deer recovery service that respects both your needs, and the welfare of the wildlife involved.
